Therapy and Counseling Online
During this time of COVID-19 when New Yorkers have health concerns and people are being asked to stay home, videoconferencing is an option available to us. Most insurance companies are covering this service.
Teletherapy sessions work much like the in-person variety. Videoconferencing psychotherapy sessions are provided on my HIPAA-compliant1 SecureVideo.com. This platform allows for real-time video communication. You will need a computer (tablet, smartphone, laptop) with a video-camera. A day or so before the meeting, I will send you a link. At the time of the meeting, click on the link.
Clients paying out-of-pocket for therapy will pay the same fee as when we meet in person.
You will need an app called Zoom in order to connect with me. You can find it at www.zoom.com. You can also download it from the app store on your phone or tablet.
